TERMS & CONDITIONS

1. BOOKING & PAYMENT

  • Booking will be confirmed only after receipt of the required advance/full payment.

  • Once the booking is confirmed, the amount paid towards the booking is NON-REFUNDABLE.

  • If the customer cancels the booking at any time, including before pickup or after starting the rental, no refund will be provided.

  • If the customer returns the vehicle before completion of the booked rental period, no refund will be provided for the unused days.

  • No refund will be provided for late arrival, change of travel plans, weather conditions, road conditions, personal reasons, illness, or any other reason attributable to the customer.

  • Date changes will be subject to vehicle availability and may attract additional charges.

2. FUEL POLICY

  • Fuel is NOT INCLUDED in the rental price unless specifically mentioned in the booking.

  • The customer is responsible for all fuel expenses during the rental period.

  • The vehicle will be handed over with the agreed fuel level, which will be recorded at the time of delivery.

  • The vehicle must be returned with the same fuel level.

  • If the vehicle is returned with less fuel than the agreed level, the applicable fuel cost plus service/refuelling charges may be deducted from the security deposit.

  • Fuel amount paid by the customer is strictly NON-REFUNDABLE.

  • Any unused fuel remaining in the vehicle at the time of return will not be refunded or reimbursed.

3. SECURITY DEPOSIT

  • A refundable security deposit is mandatory before vehicle delivery.

  • The deposit will be refunded after the vehicle is returned and inspected, subject to clearance of all applicable dues.

  • Damage charges, missing accessories, fuel shortage, challans, parking fines, late-return charges or other recoverable amounts may be deducted from the security deposit.

4. VEHICLE CONDITION

  • The customer must inspect the vehicle before accepting delivery.

  • Existing scratches, dents and damages will be recorded through photographs/video or an inspection sheet.

  • Once the vehicle is accepted, the customer is responsible for the vehicle during the entire rental period.

  • The vehicle must be returned in the same condition, except for normal wear and tear.

5. ACCIDENT & DAMAGE LIABILITY

  • The customer is responsible for damage caused due to careless riding, negligence, overspeeding, misuse, stunt riding, off-road riding, water damage, accident or violation of traffic rules.

  • Repair/replacement costs arising from customer-caused damage will be payable by the customer, subject to the rental agreement and applicable law.

  • Any loss of rental income/downtime caused by customer damage may also be recoverable where legally permissible.

6. THEFT / LOSS

  • In case of theft or loss of the vehicle, the customer must immediately inform Rudra Bike & Scooty Rental and the police.

  • The customer must fully cooperate with the police and insurance process.

  • Any amount not covered by applicable insurance or otherwise legally recoverable from the customer shall be payable by the customer.

7. TRAFFIC CHALLANS & FINES

  • All traffic challans, parking fines, tolls, penalties and other government charges incurred during the rental period shall be the customer's responsibility.

  • Any such amount received after the vehicle has been returned may also be recovered from the customer.

8. HELMET & ACCESSORIES

  • Helmets and other accessories provided with the vehicle remain the property of Rudra Bike & Scooty Rental.

  • Loss or damage to helmets/accessories will be charged to the customer.

  • The customer must use the vehicle and safety equipment responsibly.

9. LATE RETURN

  • The vehicle must be returned at the agreed date, time and location.

  • Late return without prior approval may result in additional rental/late-return charges.

  • If the vehicle is not returned on time and the customer cannot be contacted, the company may take appropriate legal action as permitted by law.

10. PROHIBITED USE

The vehicle must NOT be used for:

  • Racing or stunt riding

  • Dangerous or reckless riding

  • Illegal activities

  • Sub-renting or lending the vehicle to another person

  • Carrying more passengers than legally permitted

  • Any activity prohibited by law or applicable insurance conditions

11. BREAKDOWN / MECHANICAL FAILURE

  • In case of a mechanical problem, the customer must immediately contact Rudra Bike & Scooty Rental.

  • Customers must not carry out major repairs without prior approval.

  • Genuine mechanical breakdown not caused by misuse will be handled according to the company's assistance policy.

  • Fuel exhaustion, puncture, key loss, accidental damage or damage caused by misuse will be chargeable to the customer.

12. ACCIDENT PROCEDURE

In case of an accident, the customer must:

  1. Immediately contact Rudra Bike & Scooty Rental.

  2. Inform the police where required.

  3. Take photographs/videos of the vehicle and accident location.

  4. Provide all required documents and information.

  5. Cooperate with the insurance and investigation process.

  6. Not abandon, sell, transfer or hand over the vehicle to any third party.

13. EARLY RETURN

  • Returning the vehicle before the booked return date does NOT qualify for a refund.

  • No refund will be provided for unused rental days.

  • No refund will be provided for unused fuel, accessories or other booked services.

14. WEATHER / ROAD CONDITIONS

  • No refund will be provided due to rain, snowfall, landslide, road closure, traffic restrictions, natural calamities, government restrictions or adverse road conditions, except where otherwise required by applicable law.

  • Customers are advised to check travel and road conditions before booking.

15. PERSONAL BELONGINGS

Rudra Bike & Scooty Rental shall not be responsible for loss, theft or damage to personal belongings left in or on the vehicle.

16. CUSTOMER ELIGIBILITY

  • Customer must possess a valid driving licence applicable to the rented vehicle.

  • Valid government ID/address proof must be provided.

  • The vehicle may only be driven by the person authorised under the rental agreement.

  • Providing false, expired or invalid documents may result in cancellation of the rental without refund.

17. COMPANY'S RIGHT TO TERMINATE RENTAL

Rudra Bike & Scooty Rental may terminate the rental immediately if the customer violates these terms, provides false information, misuses the vehicle, engages in illegal activity or operates the vehicle in an unsafe manner.

In such cases, no refund will be provided, subject to applicable law.

18. CUSTOMER DECLARATION

By signing the rental agreement or accepting the vehicle, the customer confirms that they:

  • Have read and understood all Terms & Conditions.

  • Have inspected and accepted the vehicle condition.

  • Have provided valid documents.

  • Agree to the fuel and non-refundable booking policy.

  • Accept responsibility for the vehicle during the rental period.

  • Agree to pay all applicable charges arising from their use of the vehicle.
